Halley Rise
Reston, VA
Halley Rise is a thirty acre, transit-oriented, mixed-use development in Reston, VA. Lesley Conroy was the project manager for GGN’s team on the Block G park, the Block D pedestrian alley, and overall landscape concept. The native plant palette and emphasis on fine-textured vegetation throughout the parcels was inspired by Reston’s history of a strong connection to the natural environment. The project has an urban sensibility in its street grid, connection of outdoor spaces, and building form to support the new Metro stop and the increased growth it will bring.
